Kevora™ Bunion Fix

I thought my feet were normal until a doctor explained that the bony bump at the base of my big toe was actually a bunion. It had shifted that toe inward and thrown off my foot’s alignment. I never had pain from it before, but now I realize it may be contributing to my plantar fasciitis. More recently, I’ve started noticing general foot discomfort in that area, and I hadn’t made the connection until now. I'm currently trying the Kevora bunion corrector on my right foot. It's easy to use, comfortable, and seems well made. The only issue I’ve run into is the knob—it says to adjust it to the proper position but doesn’t explain what each setting means. I left it in the straight position and that seemed to work fine. My plan is to adjust the knob by one click after a month, and again by another click after the next month. I am wearing the device for about a half hour at night and gradually increasing the amount of time wearing it. I think it's comfortable and have already noticed some pain relief. I am sharing a photo of the bunion corrector while on, and another photo showing the bunion. The bunion picture has arrows to show the bump at the base of my toe bone, and also how that causes my big toe to slightly curve inward toward my other toes. Sorry if that's too much information! I just wanted to show the severity of my bunion; in case I am able to offer an 'after' photo later. I appreciate that this gives me a gentle way to try to realign the bunion, especially at an affordable cost that’s much more manageable than professional intervention. I’m sure some people may need more specialized care, but I’m hoping this will help me stay ahead of things. I have bunions on both feet. I started with one corrector, alternating feet each night. After seeing results on my right foot, I bought a second one so I can treat both simultaneously. Got this about a month ago and been careful about using it gradually like the instructions say. The design is pretty well thought out - that adjustable knob thing lets you control how it fits, and the straps actually stay put unlike some other ones ive tried. Started with just 30 mins while watching tv and worked up to longer periods. The material feels decent quality, especially the soft silicone padding inside that makes it more comfy to wear. One thing to note is it took me a few tries to figure out the right strap tightness - too loose and it shifts around, too tight and it gets uncomfortable. The velcro is strong and hasnt worn out yet despite taking it on and off lots. Comes with two different sized supports which is handy since not everyone's feet are the same size. Only downside is it can feel a bit bulky under socks and definitely cant wear it with regular shoes. The knob adjustment sometimes makes a weird clicking noise but seems to work fine. For lounging around the house it’s been ok - just make sure to follow the instructions about starting slow. Nice that its easy to clean too, just pull off the velcro parts and wipe down.

First off, I was not asked/requested to write this review…I have known people who had to have surgery for bunions and I started inspected my toes/feet more closely years ago. I’ve tried MANY different types of toe re-aligning devices, from basic toe socks to yogi toes gel inserts to braces and more. I’m very careful about my shoe choices now as well. But even with all this caution, stretching, and attempts to correct what looks to become eventual painful bunions, the alignment of my toes has not really improved. Until I bought these!
I’ve only worn them for a few days, about an hour or two at a time, and I can already see the shape and alignment of my toes shifting and straightening!!! These are the best alignment devices I’ve ever tried! They are super durable—the Velcro straps are extremely strong—I can walk around the house in them because the toe hinge moves easily, and the adjustment knob with the gel cushion really is the game changer for pushing the joint back into place, not just pulling the toe over. Although I haven’t started experiencing pain from bunions, these devices are really helping prevent further problems and eventual need for surgery. I will wear these every day forever if they keep working this well for the straightening out of my feet and toes!!! Highly recommend if you want to avoid surgery!
